Brayden in 3-D

Yesterday we had our 28 week appt. Doc thinks that Brayden is going to be a big boy!

She sent us for another ultrasound and we got to see his face in 3-D per Ryan's request.

During the ultrasound, he had a story to tell and moved his mouth and tongue a lot.

We also confirmed that he is definitely a boy!:)

How Time Goes By!

I can't believe I am already in week 28! It is going so fast. I feel great. Brayden is a busy little guy. He thinks it's dance party time each time I sit for more than a minute. I love that feeling!

We are so thankful to be blessed with a healthy boy and pray everything continues to go as well as the first 28 weeks. Only 3 months left and we will meet our little man!

Brayden's Room

Ryan worked really hard over the past week to get our son's room looking ever so cute. When we first started thinking about what to do I was sure I didn't want a theme. Well as you can see I must have changed my mind. It is a very sporty room and I love it. Many thanks to my Mom and Dad for many items that make it so sweet.

It is fun to walk by and look in the nursery instead of a guest room. It's real...we're having a baby BOY!!!

It's a BOY!

St. Patrick's Day gave us news of our little leprechaun, Brayden Ryan Bergh will be arriving in August. We were thrilled to find out we are welcoming a little boy! He is a very active and an unmodest man...he spread those legs wide so we could clearly see. The tech was great to give us lots of pictures and video of our SON!!!

Doing Flips

Yesterday was an exciting day...the baby was kicking! I can't explain how it felt, but it was amazing!!! So our little one is doing flips and tricks. Ryan really wants to feel it, but that will be a little while. What I am waiting for is for Bentley to be laying on my tummy and then have the baby kick him. That will make my day!

Heart Beats for Us

Today was our 16 week appointment. It was short and sweet. We heard our little baby's heartbeat once again...what a sweet sound! It was in the 150's. The doctor made the comment that could mean it's a girl and then turn to me to ask if I thought Boy or Girl...I think GIRL! So she looked at Ryan and said, "It's a Girl!" The mommy always knows. So time will tell. We will find out on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th whether we are going to be saying hello to Sophia or Brayden in August.

Energizer Bunny

I am happy to report that I am getting my energy back. Up until this week 2pm was my limit...now I can make it til 9pm (without a nap) and sometimes a little longer. So far the second trimester is great. Last week I started back on one cup of coffee a day. Once I had the go ahead from the doc there was no stopping me. Ryan still watches me like a hawk to make sure it stays at one cup!

With this energy I am starting to organize the house one room at a time. Starting with the soon to be nursery. Once we find out the sex of our little one Ryan is going to get on the furniture move out and painting.
