He's really coming!!!

It still hasn't set in fully, but he really is coming on Monday. Today was my last day at work until September 28th. That is crazy! Also the hospital called and gave me all my instructions prior to surgery. I'm glad the c-section is at 7:15am because I can't eat after midnight.

So there it is. In 4 days Ryan and I are going to be Dad and Mom. We are so excited!

11 more days...

It is crazy to think that in 11 days we are going to be parents. We are responsible for another person. When he's happy or sad about something we will be the ones he wants to tell or hug. We are so blessed to have this in our lives. Praise God for this miracle!

Birthday is Coming

Yesterday was an interesting day...we got to see Mr Brayden once again. He is still above average. The tech said he is very long. He's tall...not surprising! She also said she saw some hair. It makes us even more excited to see what he looks like.

Later that day on my way home from work I was rear ended. It had been raining and the gal said her brakes locked up. It did some damage to my car, but really tore her's up. I felt fine, but to be on the safe side I called the doctor. She said I needed to go to hospital and monitor the baby for 4 hours. So off I went...Ryan met me there. Brayden was just fine. He was moving and kicking a lot. After a perfect report we were sent home.

Today we met with our doctor and we confirmed that we are on for 7:15am, August 3 for a c-section. So a birthday is coming!!!!

Today was doctor day again. I am still only 1 cm dialated and he is not dropping. So doc is still thinking c-section. Brayden also did not want to share his heartbeat with us initially so I was hooked up to a monitor for about 45 minutes. Everything looked and sounded perfect.

We go Monday for another ultrasound to confirm Brayden's size and weight. Then Tuesday we will go back to our regular OB to determine Brayden's official birthday. (as official as we can get)

We are thankful for a healthy baby and mama. We continue to pray for a good delivery and recovery.

37 Weeks

Here I am at 37 weeks. I do not think I can get any bigger, but I just might! We are so ready to meet our little man...and for my belly to be flat again!

A Birthday is Coming!

We went to the doc on Tuesday. First, we got to see our little man in 3D again. Still looks adorable...I think like his mama and Grandpa Keith with a big nose and full lips. So you know he is cute!!! If I can figure out the scanner at work I will post them.

We got measurements and he is 7 lbs. That is ahead of normal, but we might be looking at 9-10 lbs instead of the 11-12 lbs we had thought. I am soooooo ok with that! He is still in the 95th percentile so small is not a word to describe him.

Doc put us on the schedule for a c-section on August 3rd. So for now that will be Brayden's birthday!!!!

Any More Room?

At 36 weeks preggo I am not sure where else my belly can stretch! Brayden is definitely a growing boy. We go the doc on Tuesday to see just how much he has grown in the past 4 weeks. We hope to start the process of knowing when he might be joining our family. If we are still on for a c-section we should talk dates on Tuesday. We are ready to meet our little man and I am ready to see my feet!!!!
